For a major foreign contractor, we manufactured and installed a mezzanine as part of an extension to the measuring station located at an LNG hub in the Adriatic Sea.
The metal structure is entirely hot-dip galvanised and consists of columns and frames that support IPE360 beams, which are necessary to support the plant machinery that will be installed in the upper part.
The whole structure is assembled using high-strength electro-galvanised bolts, ensuring durability, reliability and speed during assembly.
In close coordination with the company in charge of the civil works, Italiana Carpenterie supplied threaded bars – installed in jacket pipes then filled with shrinkage-compensated mortar to support and anchor the structure – and templates complete with spacers for the correct positioning of the anchors, to ensure a structurally solid, precise and durable fixing.
To complete the work, #parapets, ladders and walkway gratings were installed, ensuring full accessibility and #safety for maintenance and inspection activities.
