Metal #carpentry roofs are the ‘long-lasting’ load-bearing structures preferred by operators in the industrial, civil and warehousing sectors of all sizes. In addition to satisfying the usual need to have the construction produced and installed in a short time, Italiana Carpenterie’s creations can also be synergised with other materials such as wood and reinforced concrete.
It is increasingly common to combine in the same load-bearing structure, as in the 3D drawing, the solidity of steel trusses with wooden beams for horizontal connections. In this specific project, the entire roof structure was also planned to be anchored on reinforced concrete curb.
The trusses with plates for supporting the wooden beams and the roof support elements were pre-assembled in the workshop, ensuring the correct final positioning on the bordon beams. Prior to delivery and assembly on site, all elements of the steel structure were galvanised.
